2012 ended with me doing something I thought I would never...and I do mean NEVER. Wife Whisperer, with the help of my parents, finally convinced me that getting on a big boat and floating out into the middle of the Gulf of Mexico, and beyond, would be a good idea, despite the fact that I'm a real lame swimmer and despite the fact that I'm prone to seasickness.
But look...here we are, looking happy and healthy. Turns out, I love cruising. What's not to love? They take care of you morning, noon and night, feed you terrific food and stop off at exotic locales. Also, I got a chance to snorkel...and I love snorkeling more than life itself. That may be overstating it a bit but...it's really fun. Again, I say, what's not to love?
The ship was gorgeous and I think, more than anything, just being away and not thinking one serious thought was a great thing. A rest for the brain.
And, a rest for the body.
Looky here... I'm relaxed and smiling. I didn't even get sick...I'm so proud of myself.
When we returned, our young men were waiting for us.

Not much new here, but I'm glad you got to relax and rejuvenate. Oh, and snorkel too YAY!

Good on you that you went for a cruise! They're so relaxing, aren't they?I can't wait for March to fly down to Houston and make some adorable Adorn Me bangles with you. I'm making my lists and checkin' them twice and I'll soon find out if I'm naughty or nice! (to paraphrase the jolly ole' guy) Pray that the Northeast doesn't get socked in with snow that weekend! We're having a "dusting" at the moment. Hope you're feeling rejuvenated!

I can't wait for this year. Don't know what it's gonna bring but I'm there!!
Actually, I loved cruising when I was a teenager. However, ships don't have golf courses and that's a problem for the hubby!
