As with all of my e-courses, I'm thrilled to offer this one and can't wait to see what you all do with it. In the process of creating it, I realized just how many possibilities there are when it comes to making beautiful closures for your jewelry.
In this class, we're going to explore how to make some of my very favorite closures.
Along the way, you'll discover that closures don't have to be dull and ordinary but, instead, are a great way to add excitement and beauty to your pieces.
This class will grow your jewelry making expertise and give you a multitude of unique and inspiring options for finishing your pieces.
Here are some of the many techniques we'll cover in class:
- shaping, forming, filing
- hammering and hardening
- how to use a butane torch
- drawing a bead on wire
- annealing
- making perfect jump rings
- bead wrapping
- drilling metal
- using a dapping block
- using a circle cutter
- over 20 videos!

A little info...
Dates:
Start: April 2, 2012
End: June 3, 2012
The workshop will run for two full months on my private classroom site. All videos will be posted on the first day of class to allow you to work at your own pace (sorry, the videos are not downloadable.) Once the videos are posted, students will be able to view them at any time. This means you can work in your jammies at three in the morning, if you like! I will be available the entire duration of the workshop for questions and troubleshooting. PDF's of the tools/supplies list will be provided after registration. (no refunds after registration is complete.)
