I thought I'd have registration for my new online class, The Art of Closure, ready for this week. But, I've had a tiny little distraction:
Puppy breath and sharp little teeth...midnight visits to the potty spot...play sessions...even a trip to the vet. This is Mayzie, our welsh terrier puppy. It's just like having a baby but without the painful bit. She's sweet as can be and I'm hoping she'll be just as smart and fun as our girl, Maggie. Sooooooo.....
........The Art of Closure will open for registration on Monday! Whoop! I'm SO excited about this class.
One of the reasons...the main reason...is you, my students. You all have been such a blessing to me. You've come to class, inspired me and friended me on Facebook. I've learned from you, been encouraged by you and grown, from knowing you. You've also said really nice things about me. I love you guys. Seriously.
The other thing is...the content of this class. One of the reasons it's taking so long for me to offer registration is that I keep thinking of things I want to add. It's going to be chock full of great techniques and ideas.
Come on back, Monday, and let's get ready to play. In betwixt (yes, it's a real word...don't you love it?!) clapping the chalk dust from the erasers, cleaning the desks and revising the tool list...
...I'm working on my Bead Soup project. I'll have a big, huge post about that on Saturday, for the big, huge blog hop.
Hang with me and come on back 'cause I don't want you to miss anything and this is way more fun with you!

Congrats on your new furry baby! The home is definately a bit empty without them isn't it? Smiling for you!
Looking forward to see what your class will be about!

YEAH!!!!! You have puppy breath in your life and I have another of your classes in mine. Your classes are absolutely the best and I am speaking from a variety of experience. Whenever anyone asks what online course that I would recommend, it is yours hands down. Happy dance!

Deryn, the ecourse looks fabulous. I am certainly interested but it will depend on the length of the class etc.

I can't wait to sign up for your class, Deryn! Closures are often forgotten but can be a beautiful secondary focal point to a creation! I can't wait for your inspiration!

Hi Deryn....I would be so excited to take your ecourse...living in Canada I never hade the opportunity to take workshops...wire working is my thing and I have books galore...but I would love to see something more hands on...I have all the tools..torch etc....Mayzie is adorable and I can totally relate..my babie girl Nala...aka Nala Bear is almost 6months...I have had her since she was 5weeks young...and yes they do take up most of your day to house train them.. Love them...etc....like having a new baby...I love her to bits...she is such a good girl...sits in my studio with me now on her bed...anyway I'll be back Monday for sure...can't wait!!!!! Ttyl xox

OMG! Your new baby, Mayzie, is absolutely adorable! Such a sweet, elvish little face; she looks like she has a lot of "pixie" in her and is going to be a lot of fun. Love the pics, keep them coming, please! Congratulations, Deryn!

Oh for crying out loud, she's soooooo cute I want to grab her right off the screen and give her smooches! And I'm not a dog person usually....what's that you say about a class? I got lost looking at Mayzie!

That is just about the cutest puppy I've ever seen! Since I saw a Welsh Terrier in an antique mall (in his masters arms) I've been in love with the breed. Don't see too many of them (in fact, that was the only one I've ever seen). Cheers to Mayzie!

What a precious little new friend you have there Deryn! I am so very happy for you. Hoping she will fill that void in your heart and give you a lifetime of puppy dog kisses, laughs, and companionship. AND, by the way....congrats on the fantastic spread in the current issue of BAJM!!! Well deserved acknowledgment.
Hugs
