I've been swapping Christmas ornaments with this group for, oh....maybe seven years, or so. Back in 2007, I formed an online group for us called "Adorn." Our Lou McCulloch has been with us at least since then...a long time! She's been a faithful maker of ornaments; always on time and always creating something so cute. Her work is very much marked with her style:
Lou always comes up with ideas I would never think of...so creative...and don't you love that vintage German text?
Mary’s Song
46 And Mary said:
“My soul glorifies the Lord
47 and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior,
48 for he has been mindful
of the humble state of his servant.
From now on all generations will call me blessed,
49 for the Mighty One has done great things for me—
holy is his name.
50 His mercy extends to those who fear him,
from generation to generation.
51 He has performed mighty deeds with his arm;
he has scattered those who are proud in their inmost thoughts.
52 He has brought down rulers from their thrones
but has lifted up the humble.
53 He has filled the hungry with good things
but has sent the rich away empty.
54 He has helped his servant Israel,
remembering to be merciful
55 to Abraham and his descendants forever,
just as he promised our ancestors.”
Luke 1: 46-55

Deryn, Thank you SOOOO much for sharing such a wonderful "group" of talent and heart.....and in the TRUE Spirit of Christ-mas with the beautiful Scriptures you have sent. Sometimes we can't get out to see or get the feeling of the Season, but all you have to do is go here.....you get to not only see the ornament....you get to gaze at it and hear and imagine what it was like with the JOY of expectation opening each piece!! Like a child ....I have enjoyed this sooo much!!!! Thank you to all your group and your efforts to share some of the beauty....His Beauty!!!
