No it certainly isn't. I'm a veteran, as is my husband. I read a lot of WWII memoirs and it's all so sobering -- people just don't realize. I hope you'll visit my blog tomorrow -- there is a man locally who put together an amazing memorial and I got photos of it.

Thank you. My son returned from Afghanistan less than a month ago. Many of his fellow soldiers did not. It means a great deal to me to have you honour our fallen soldiers from all the very many wars in which our sons and daughters have served our country.
