I know some of ya'll are probably familiar with this site but I've lately discovered it and it's inspiring me. Sometimes I feel a need to release my creativity into areas other than gemstones and metals and photography has long been a deep love of mine. However, my photoshop skills are sadly lacking. I've dipped my toe into Kim's Texture Tuesday challenge, blatantly hoping to win a set of her lovely textures. But, I'm seriously considering her Art of Texture e-course. I've got a large photo library in need of playing with!

Hi Deryn,
Congrats on your win! I love your photo and love the info at Kim's site. I just signed up for her Photoshop newsletters and such. Thanks for sharing. - Beth

I have taken several of kim's classes. She is probably one of the best instructors out there!!! You will love the class! Great picture Deryn!

I love your photo - it's probably terrific on its own but the texture gives it some depth. I can attest that Kim's Art of Texture class is worth every penny and every minute you spend on it.

I can see why you like Kim's textures. Sadly, I will never take pictures like yours. Love the angel.

Hello and it's nice to meet you. I'm now taking Kim Klassen's Art of Textures class as well as her essentials. It is the best thing I did since I'm learning my camera and photoshop is necessary nowadays. Try them out or even her free classes. She does a wonderful job teaching.
Warmly,
Karla

This image is absolutely divine! I love the contrast between the soft background and the statue. Even the title of your photo adds interest. Very cool.
Peace!

I love this site, but since I don't have (and can't afford) photoshop, I can only drool with envy. Someday....
Have a wonderful week!
