This moment, I am feeling creatively challenged. But He, obviously, is not. Thank. You. Lord. (click these photos to see a larger view--you won't be sorry!)
It's nothing serious...just a plethora (don't you love that word? plethora...plethora...) of every-day-life kinds of things threatening to take over the artsy side of my already-feeling-tasked brain. Household emergencies, insurance paperwork, multitudinous mental preparations for scaling an Everest of neglected laundry.
So, I stepped out for a moment...heard the morning birds...felt the breeze in my hair...got inspired to lift the lens. Looking to provoke...wanted to share... How are you???

Gorgeous photos. How I love daylilies!

Those are so beautiful. We are even having Spring in Minnesota. I have been very creatively challenged (very sick husband) and miss making jewelry but it is just not there. So, I am doing a lot of papercrafts. Mostly things with cutting (like tags) which is kind of therapeutic.
Thank you for the lovely crosses. They were very touching to me!
Fondly,
Suz

Gosh, we must get together for a little girl time, don't you think =) Maybe you & Dave can take a drive out to Fayetteville (this weekend) to the Art Walk =)

Hey Deryn,
I understand where you are. I am not sure why we always try to make things harder than they need to be...but I will tell you what my husband always tells me...just do the first thing. God is a God of order so when I start to do that, before I know it, my lists diminish and my mind is clear for my creativity to start taking over again. Love the photos and I hope all is well...

Photo #3 looks like the Pantone color for this year. Do you ever work with pink(s)?
