Need a little inspiration? When I taught at ArtBliss, one of my students was an adorable, sweet, creative woman named Amy Powers. She was a thirsty learner and soaked up everything I poured out. I quickly learned she's the publisher of a wonderful e-magazine called, you got it...Inspired Ideas. It's bright, colorful and well...inspiring! Being the freak for all things Christmas that I am, I'm really excited to be included in her holiday issue.
Wanna make this crystal icicle ornament? The idea for these chandelier crystal ornaments has been glittering in the back of my mind for a long time. I'm imagining my Christmas tree drenched and dripping with them...sparkling! I finally created it, especially for Amy. Take a look inside Inspired Ideas and you'll find a full tutorial.
You'll also find articles from some very talented artist friends: Charlotte Lyons, Amy Hanna, Teresa McFayden, Pam Garrison and more, including Mary Engelbreit. You can also see the autumn issue, here. Enjoy!

OMG Your stuff is so gorgeous! Love your open house and all your jewelry. Would love any freebie!

As a fellow Christmas freak, I have to say that I love your icicle design and can't wait to see it in Amy's holiday issue! I collect different glittery icicles and ornaments each year for my tree, and I think these would be just the thing for this year! ;-D

Gotta love chandelier crystals! They fit in everywhere...especially on a Christmas tree or hanging from garland strung above your windows or on your staircase banisters!

Can you imagine the sparkle in my eye? I can see a grouping of these icy crystal ornaments hanging over an oil lamp of mine for Christmas. Beautiful, Deryn.
