I won! I can't believe I won anything but, Carolyn Mallin was having a giveaway on her blog so I took a chance and left a comment...and won! (Thank you Carolyn!) The other day, this sweet package arrived. It was obviously wrapped, packed and tied with the utmost care. One of the lovely wrappings was a sheet of paper printed with one of Carolyn's photos of spring blossoms. And here's my prize:
Click on the photo for a larger view because you need to see the beautiful details Carolyn put into this piece. It's so pretty and just the right length...perfect for spring. Isn't that tag beneath it gorgeous too?
It's a beauty and I'm so pleased at my good fortune. Make sure you check out Carolyn's jewelry.
I don't know if you've noticed but, I've changed my inspiration link (upper left sidebar). Take a look...

It's always fun to win a giveaway, especially when you don't expect to win! This is a beautiful piece of art!

Lucky, lucky you. I have never one any of these giveaways. Soon....maybe.
Beautiful piece.
In answer to your question (I couldn't link back to you), I didn't design the piece as a cross. Many people have seen it that way, but no.
It just sort of happened. I think more spiritual people will see the cross.
Thanks for your comment, Deryn.

Ohhhh, blessed you are! What a beautiful necklace and wrappings! Enjoy wearing it. I picked up that book you recommended 'Wrap, Stitch, Fold & Rivet' and now I'm wishing for a blowtorch. ha I have most everything else to play. I may have to try my hand at metal jewelry when the summer gives way to more time to try something new. Have a wonderful week of creating.
