Fab idea, Deryn! ;o) I keep an ideas book but it's not very exciting and inspired by your lovely page I think I'll pilfer (in the nicest possible way!) your idea and start a jewellery art journal too! Thanks for sharing. ;o)

Seth

GREAT page. Looks like you are channeling a little da vinci!

Danita

Journals, jewelry... the medium doesn't matter, anything you touch you make it beautiful :)

I haven't left a comment for a while but have been visiting often and drooling over your art. You are always an inspiration to me. I really love your latest art work.

You go, girl! I think your journal is coming along nicely. I have never been one to keep a journal for my artistic projects. I had to keep one in school and found myself rushing to complete it the day before it was do. I like the fact you are mixing up your media in many ways!xoxoxoxo

That is pretty cool Deryn!

I doodle my designs somtimes, which looks exactly like your style of doodles. But I *really* like the idea of creating a colored background for them and creating a journal with collage around them!
That is cool!

I am guessing that this is a sketch of the piece on your blog title?
:oD

That is really nice Deryn - Hope this doesn't sound like a dumb question but do you start with a white page and paint it or do you collage the whole thing?
