There are those cool, pearl drops again only in a different color. You might be wondering if I just had to have these in every color and the answer would be...yes. Unfortunately, they only had two colors; this lovely pink/brown and the green in the post below.
The transfer behind the antique chandelier crystal came from a picture I took on a cloudy day in Glenwood Cemetery in Houston. I took this with my trusty, old, 35mm Pentax. This camera was a high school graduation gift from my father and is an absolute workhorse...tough as nails and weighs about 50 lbs. It took the best pictures of any camera I ever had, until one day (after 20 years or so of service)...the shutter froze. I rushed it to the nearest camera store to be told the discouraging news that it would cost $200 or more to fix and I should lay the Pentax to rest and find myself a real camera. Well! My kind neighbor offered to take it with him to Pakistan on his next business trip where he was sure it could be fixed for next to nothing. Sure enough, he brought it back with the shutter in working order. I think it may have cost 5 bucks or so. I'm not sure what they did to it but the lens now gives my pictures the most wonderful, ethereal effect...
